The Murrieta/Temecula Republican Assembly (MTRA) was founded in about 1997 by Tom Rogers, Ed Elder and Adele Harrison. Board meetings used to be at Adele's house. Regular meetings used to be at the South end of Front Street. Over the years, meeting locations have been at a Mexican restaurant on Cal Oaks in Murrieta in 2000, then the Murrieta Sizzler, Country Gardens in Temecula, the European Deli in Temecula, Marie Calendars in Temecula, Pat and Oscars in Temecula, and now the Temeku Hills Clubhouse.
